Students at College of the Desert Demonstrate Against State Budget Cuts - Tom Tucker, KPSP2

COD summer session classes may be cancelled Students at College of the Desert in Palm Desert demonstrated against statewide cuts to education. A crowd of about 100 students and others attended making the group smaller than expected. As a result of budget cuts, College of the Desert has cut roughly 5 percent of the overall class offerings this past academic year, and the college president expects the same for next year.
