Day two of UCSC student protest is peaceful - Bonnie Horgos, Santa Cruz Sentinal

Day two of the latest student protest at UC Santa Cruz proceeded without major incident. About 100 students gathered at the main entrance of UCSC for what they called "Walk Out on Your Education." The protest included student-led teaching sessions on subjects such as budget issues facing the university, civil disobedience and the future of the university. But in a change from other protests this year, several instructors decided to teach their classes at the entrance, rather than in classrooms.
