University's budget falls as tuition costs rise - Yann Ranaivo, Amarillo.com

West Texas A&M University will have a $108.8 million budget for the fiscal year that begins Sept. 1. That amount includes a nearly 4 percent tuition increase, but is $5.8 million less than the university's 2009-2010 school year budget. WT's 2010-2011 budget was approved last week when the school's governing board approved a $3.3 billion budget for the entire Texas A&M University System.
