More than $1.4 million in proposed budget cuts at the University of Nebraska at Kearney doesn’t include eliminating any presently filled positions. Chancellor Doug Kristensen announced where $1,429,241 in budget cuts are expected to be taken this fiscal year and requested input from the campus community. Vice Chancellor of University Relations Curt Carlson said 5.5 vacant positions could be cut.
