UNLV considering tuition hikes for some programs - BusinessWeek

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas is considering raising tuition for certain programs as it grapples with budget problems that have left the school with $50 million less than it had three years ago. UNLV President Neal Smatresk said Tuesday during a state of the university address that priorities during the next fiscal year also include creating new revenue streams. Smatresk says UNLV has lost 27 percent of its budget since 2007.
