A 2012 -13 operating budget of $141 million was presented as a final budget for the Riverside Community College District when the district Board of Trustees committee met. Spending in 2011-12 was about $148 million. The proposed budget is based on the assumption that voters approve Prop. 30 temporary tax increases on the Nov. 6 ballot. If the measure fails, the district, which operates Riverside City, Moreno Valley and Norco colleges, will have to cut an estimated $8.2 million in the middle of the school year.
