Prof takes aim at staff managers - ANTHONY A. MESTAS, THE PUEBLO CHIEFTAIN
A Colorado State University-Pueblo professor said Friday that he and several of his colleagues are shocked by the “incompetence” and “malfeasance” of some of their managers in dealing with the school’s recent budget cuts. “They knew about these financial problems a lot of years ago, but we should have been put on a sustainable path a long time ago and we should have fixed the problem then,” said William Brown, an associate professor of physics and physical science at CSU-Pueblo. Brown said he and others would like to know why the budget challenges were not addressed until it became a real crisis.
