After loss of state money, UND seeks solutions to Chester Fritz budget - Anna Burleson, Prairie Business

Everything isn’t as bad as it seems at the University of North Dakota’s Chester Fritz Library, according to university officials. The library’s base budget will remain intact for now, contrary to multiple reports, but the library will definitely lose $300,000 in funds they’ve been privy to for the last three years. Another $210,000 will be lost for the upcoming school year, but will be re-allocated to the library in the following years. Chester Fritz Director Wilbur Stolt said a “budget cut” isn’t necessarily the correct term for what’s happening. “It’s been the perfect storm,” he said. http://www.prairiebizmag.com/event/article/id/18057/
