SCSU trustees want bailout details - Dale Linder-Altman, Times and Democrat

South Carolina State University presented its financial recovery plan to the S.C. Budget and Control Board on Feb. 19, but some trustees say the plan needs more specific details to satisfy legislators. They also say they should have had a voice in the plan’s development. Trustee Tony Grant asked how the university is going to repay the $17 million the university is seeking.
