Richland College balances budget, despite hurdles - RACHEL RODGERS Herald and Review

Faced with the challenges of decreased enrollment, tax base and state funding, Richland Community College officials crafted a balanced budget totaling $39 million, about $8.5 million less than last fiscal year. The board of trustees unanimously approved the Fiscal Year 2015 plan Tuesday. After reaching record highs during the 2010 and 2011 fiscal years, enrollment has declined for the last three years.
