WVU cost-cutting continues as university seeks $20 million in cuts; core academics spared - THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

West Virginia University continues to tighten its belt to achieve approximately $20 million in budget cuts. The Dominion Post (http://bit.ly/1sjxlGO) reports that job cuts and the consolidation or outright elimination of several departments is part of the cost-cutting that has occurred. More than 100 positions have been eliminated, including positions that had been vacant.
