University of Akron, expecting an enrollment decline, approves budget - Karen Farkas, The Plain Dealer

The University of Akron, after months of efforts to trim expenses, has a budget for the upcoming fiscal year. Trustees approved a $367 million budget that anticipates an enrollment decline. This is the third year the university has had to take measures to achieve a balanced budget, following declines in states support and enrollment.
