Hocking zaps four positions in restructuring - David DeWitt, the Athens News

Hocking College has eliminated four positions effective July 1 as part of a restructuring effort that created efficiencies. Spokesperson Laura Alloway said last week that the positions were cut after reorganizing of workloads in some administrative offices. "Within some departments themselves, efficiencies and things like that have brought about a need for workload realignment," she said. Alloway said that elimination of the four positions was not totally budget-related. "This is just looking at our overall workflow and making sure we're doing things as efficiently as possible," she said.
