Students, alumni concerned about GSU direction - Mike Hasten, the Advertiser

Members of Grambling State University's Student Government Association and Alumni Association voiced concerns Friday to the University of Louisiana Board of Supervisors about the direction the campus is headed. They also came to protest possible program cuts and layoffs to balance the university's budget. GSU Interim President Cynthia Warrick indicated in October that budget issues would be brought to the board's December meeting but UL System President Sandra Woodley says she and her staff are working with Warrick and her staff to head off any drastic measures.
