As classes resume Monday at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, there are major worries on campus about whether millions of dollars in state budget cuts could be coming, along with key changes in who has the final say over tuition, shared governance and faculty tenure. Leaders of all 13 four-year campuses within the UW System have been summoned to meetings in Madison over the past 2 1/2 weeks by top-level UW officials to brace for the possibility that hundreds of millions of dollars could be cut from the UW System in Gov.
