Chancellor: SIUE enrollment up, but budget cuts a concern - ELIZABETH DONALD, News-Democrat

Enrollment gains paint a rosy picture for Southern Illinois University Edwardsville’s future, but the state’s budget crisis looms as a serious problem, according to administrators. Chancellor Julie Furst-Bowe held the annual open forum Tuesday for faculty, staff and students to hear updates on budget issues, enrollment, pensions, health care and other issues facing the university.
