UW-L looking to cut vacant positions, grow enrollment to bridge budget cuts - Nathan Hansen, Lacrosse Tribune

No layoffs and no outsourcing. That was the message University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Chancellor Joe Gow told the campus community at a forum Tuesday to discuss the impacts of a proposed $300 million funding cut to the UW System. UW-L’s portion of those cuts would be about $8 million.
