University of Akron will reduce air conditioning this summer to save money - Karen Farkas, Northeast Ohio Media

University of Akron has agreed to cut back on air conditioning during some peak-demand hours this summer in exchange for an $800,000 credit from its power supplier. The school also will receive thousands of dollars in credits from its power supplier, PJM Interconnection, for the unused power.
