ISU budget reflects 10 percent cut in state aid - Lenore Sobota, Pantagraph

The $422 million fiscal year 2016 operational budget approved by the Illinois State University Board of Trustees on Friday might not be the board's final word on the subject. The budget reflects a $7.4 million cut in state appropriations compared to the university's original fiscal year 2015 appropriation — a reduction of 10 percent. But the exact amount of money to come from the state is unknown, nearly four months after the fiscal year began. “It's disappointing and it's frustrating that we don't have a budget from Springfield,” said board chairman Rocky Donahue. http://www.pantagraph.com/news/isu-budget-reflects-percent-cut-in-state-aid/article_eb333d4d-c4cd-5cd6-8589-b7584a2eb7b1.html
