The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire will be laying off 11 employees due to the statewide budget cuts. The cuts are coming from four different departments ranging from the Chancellor's division to the facilities department. “UW-Eau Claire received a $7.7 million reduction in our state appropriation as a result of the recently passed state budget,” Assistant Chancellor Mike Rindo says. “That’s a 26% reduction in state funding.
