WIU students take a stand against state budget crisis - Bryant Clerkley, WGEM

Western Illinois University students are taking a stand against the unbalanced budget in Illinois by sending emails to local legislators. Organizer and student Kelly Rodgers says she's worried about the future of the MAP grant, which she benefits from. She says the university is going to front the MAP grant for the spring semester, but she's worried that won't last very long. Rodgers says she wants legislators to know how an unbalanced budget affects students like herself.
