Cayuga Community College's low enrollment creates $664,000 revenue shortfall - Carrie Chantler, Lee Publications

According to a Cayuga Community College financial report summary distributed Wednesday, the college predicts it will fall below projected revenue estimates by $664,000, driven by a 6.5 percent enrollment shortfall. There was, however, no discussion about this circumstance among college leadership during Wednesday's monthly trustees meeting. CCC will address the issue in two ways, the December summary said. First, $294,000 will be transferred from a "Tech Fee Reserve" account and, secondly, the college will reduce expenditures by eliminating class sections and tracking instructional costs. http://auburnpub.com/news/local/cayuga-community-college-s-low-enrollment-creates-revenue-shortfall/article_3db388a7-e431-584a-b69b-af2001a9d308.html
