Budget impasse stalls critical student aid - WEEK

With a new semester just weeks away, many Illinois college students still don't have their anticipated financial aid. 125 thousand students in Illinois rely on the Monetary Award Program, or MAP, to help pay for college. But those students have not seen a dime of that funding since summer 2015, due to the state's inability to pass a new budget. After more than six months of waiting for their scholarship funds, students are starting to get fed up. http://www.cinewsnow.com/news/local/Budget-impasse-stalls-critical-student-aid-364716551.html
