Southeastern Oklahoma State University dealing with budget cuts - Sean Larsen, KXII

Southeastern Oklahoma State University is dealing with a state revenue failure and is engaged in making the appropriate budget cuts, but they are trying to minimize the impact to students. Carl Elkins Jr. is a Southeastern Oklahoma State University student, founder of the student organization Future Stars of America, and a wide receiver for the Savage Storm. "I definitely believe if you come to Southeastern, you're going to get a good quality education," he said. "We're still receiving new gear, year in year out, and as far as Coach (Bo) Atterberry, he's been running the show pretty well." But last month, Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin issued a state mandated budget cut for education blaming low oil prices. http://www.kxii.com/home/headlines/SOSU-dealing-with-budget-cuts-365775921.html
