Minot State University Reacts To Budget Cuts - KXN

Minot State University is looking for ways to cut about two-million dollars from the budget this biennium. University president Dr. Steven Shirley says the administration was expecting cuts from the state level. He says they've identified about two-and-a-half percent of the just over four percent cut required. Shirley says there's still work to be done before getting the information back to governor Jack Dalrymple by mid-month. He says most cuts will be in planned initiatives that will have to take the back burner as well as vacant position will be likely to remain vacant for now. http://www.kxnet.com/story/31154004/minot-state-university-reacts-to-budget-cuts
