Seminole State College announces big budget cuts - Glenn Puit, Seminole College

Nearly two ago East Central University announced sizable budget cuts to services here in Ada due to the date's prolific budget shortfall. Late Thursday, the Seminole State College Board of Regents announced its own set of cuts. Seminole State said the board has to cope with "drastic cuts in State appropriations," prompting the scaleback. Dr. Jim Utterback presented Board members Reductions from Seminole State College’s educational and general budget during the current fiscal year include $210,917 in July, $174,458 in December, $140,730 in February, $207,112 in March, and $33,623 in April for a total year to date drop of $766,840.
