Dalton State to cut athletics programs due to budget issues - TAYLOR ELLIS, News Channel 19

Dalton State College plans to cut four of it's ten intercollegiate athletics programs for the upcoming year. According to Interim Athletic Director Jon Jaudon, the cuts are due to "budget shortfalls." The four programs that will be discontinued have not been determined, although in a release Dalton State said that Men's basketball will not be eliminated.
