LCCC may slash 15 staff positions to deal with budget cuts - Kristine Galloway, Wyoming Tribune Eagle

Between nine and 11 employees at Laramie County Community College may soon be out of a job. On Monday, LCCC President Joe Schaffer released in a memorandum to the Board of Trustees the college administration’s plan to reduce the college budget by $2.5 million for the coming biennium. The recommended plan involves the elimination of 15 positions at LCCC. Nine of those positions currently are filled, while the remaining six already are vacant. The president’s memorandum lists two additional positions the administration hopes to keep by finding new funds for the position. http://www.wyomingnews.com/news/lccc-may-slash-staff-positions-to-deal-with-budget-cuts/article_e05ddc92-a57e-11e6-8458-33aaedfdd9d8.html
