UND preparing for budget shortfall of up to 12-percent - WDAY

More budget cuts at the University of North Dakota may be looming. An internal email sent to staff says UND is preparing for that shortfall in the state budget. According to the email, the budget could be reduced up to 12 percent. A university spokesperson says the future is uncertain. "The state was doing very well because the sectors that energized the state were doing very well to a time period where now those income levels are restricted. And we'll have to see what happens in the spring," said Peter Johnson, Interim Vice President for University and Public Affairs. https://www.wday.com/news/north-dakota/4171629-und-preparing-budget-shortfall-12-percent
