‘We will weather this storm’ -Mary Ewers, West Plains Daily Quill

Missouri State University-West Plains (MSU-WP) officials held a press conference Tuesday morning at Kellett Hall to discuss how the fiscal year 2017 spending restrictions and the recommended fiscal year 2018 budget reductions to higher education will impact the West Plains campus. On Jan. 16, Governor Eric Greitens, a Republican, announced a $146 million spending restriction to make up for a projected revenue shortfall.
