Wright State braces for layoffs - Tristan Nivera, Dayton Business Journal

Wright State University could shed 170 positions in a bid to cut $32 million from its budget. In a Friday meeting, Wright State's board of trustees discussed the first ideas for their budget next year, as the school initially trims $25 million from its budget, corrects a $40 million over-spend this year, rebuilds reserves that will fall to $26 million and contends with flat student enrollment. Up to 120 people could be laid off while 50 vacant positions could be cut. http://www.bizjournals.com/dayton/news/2017/04/28/wright-state-braces-for-layoffs.html
