Council approves $399M operating budget - Daniel J. Chacón, The New Mexican

The Santa Fe City Council put the final stamp of approval Wednesday on a budget that includes money for employee raises and sets aside $1.2 million to help pay off a loan associated with the Santa Fe University of Art and Design, which is expected to close next year and leave the city without rental income to pay off millions of dollars in debt. The Santa Fe University of Art and Design will close in the spring of 2018 after the proposed sale of the privately owned school to Raffles Education Corp. of Singapore fell through. http://www.santafenewmexican.com/news/local_news/council-approves-m-operating-budget/article_4206f206-8cce-538d-a411-fa70eb04e125.html
