Lengthy budget impasse delays contract for I SU PresidentDietz - Lenore Sobota, Pantagraph

The state of Illinois finally has a budget but, because of the budget delays, Illinois State University President Larry Dietz will have to wait a little longer for a contract. The ISU board of trustees approved a contract extension to Sept. 30 at their meeting Friday. With the state budget not approved until July 6, there wasn't enough time to complete the new contract for Dietz, said Rocky Donahue, who was re-elected as board chairman.
