SIC Board focuses on money matters - Angela Wilson, Harrisburg Daily Register

The Southeastern Illinois College Board of Trustees heard reports earlier this week on the new state budget and the Hise Museum, as well as taking action on employee health insurance. Administrative reports included an update on the recent budget passed by the General Assembly. Officials note that the college will end fiscal year 2017 (FY 17) in the black now with state funding and expect a balanced budget for FY 18. The 10 percent reduction of funds in the FY 18 appropriation as compared to FY 15 funds will be mitigated by the cost savings engaged by the college last year. http://www.dailyregister.com/news/20170721/sic-board-focuses-on-money-matters
