In 'conservative' enrollment estimate, Keene State braces for another drop - Meg McIntyre, Sentinel
As it continues to contend with a significant decline in student numbers, Keene State College has determined a new estimate for enrollment. The college’s enrollment “floor” has been set at 3,535 students for fiscal year 2019, according to college spokeswoman Kelly Ricaurte. This number is the college’s “most conservative estimate,” and may be scaled up in the future based on actual enrollment figures, she wrote in an email. It’s also more than 250 students lower than the college’s current enrollment. Interim President Melinda Treadwell quoted current enrollment at 3,800 students in September.
