Lifelong Learning Center may be impacted by UNL budget cuts - KENT WARNEKE, Norforlk Daily News
University of Nebraska-Lincoln administrators this week unveiled $3.8 million in proposed budget cuts, and their impact may even reach the Lifelong Learning Center in Norfolk. Among the cuts proposed were to vacate the university’s physical presence in the Lifelong Learning Center on the Northeast Community College campus. That is anticipated to save about $127,000. That proposal and other proposed cuts will go through a campus process that involves the input of faculty members and others through the Academic Planning Committee. A second set of proposed cuts is expected Dec. 6.
