Missouri State U bracing for 'more difficult than usual' budget decisions next year - Claudette Riley, News-Leader

Sugarcoating was not an option Friday when Missouri State President Clif Smart talked about next year's budget. Smart told the Board of Governors the fast-growing university is braced to make "more difficult than usual" decisions regarding its 2018-19 spending plan. "We expect a hard year next year," he said. "...No one is telling us it's going to be a good year — zero."
