U of I's 2018 Budget Does Not Include Tuition Increase - MARK SCHULTZ, Peoria Public Radio

The University of Illinois has a new budget for 2018, and the spending plan holds the line on student tuition. The Board of Trustees approved the $6.35 billion spending plan Thursday. Executive Vice President and Vice President for Academic Affairs Barbara Wilson says the U of I will not increase tuition for the third straight year. Wilson warned that unpredictable state finances, uncertain federal research funding and increasing pension costs continue to put pressure on future budgets. http://peoriapublicradio.org/post/u-2018-budget-does-not-include-tuition-increase
