Southwest Missouri is fortunate to be home to a number of high-quality colleges and universities. In tight state budget years, our challenge is to be sure that we also continue to have affordable options. Missouri State University is, and always has been, committed to providing a quality, affordable education for students in southwest Missouri and across the state and nation. Most of our students — 84 percent — are from Missouri. We focus on efficiency and stewardship as we search for every expense-saving opportunity.
