Six employees at Ontario’s community college received notification on Feb. 7 that their positions are being reviewed for possible retrenchment. During its annual retrenchment process at Treasure Valley Community College, officials can consider the dismissal of an employee from their job, which is used to reduce costs during economic hardship. With TVCC suffering flagging enrollment numbers, college administrators opted this year to review six positions in six programs at the college.
