Ohio University Trustees approved budget which, again, dips into reserves - Conor Morris, Athens News
This comes as the university has faced tight budgets in recent years, with a salary raise freeze in the 2017-2018 fiscal year for most employees and OU’s administrative and academic offices making various cuts. The Trustees already approved the university removing almost $24 million from its reserves during their June 2017 meeting to balance the 2017-2018 budget. OU’s various academic colleges were asked to make $8.4 million in budget reductions over the next few years,
