UNM officials must address budget gap after drop in enrollment - KRQE

The University of New Mexico is now addressing how to fill a funding gap caused by an enrollment shortfall. According to The Albuquerque Journal, this year the university was expecting a 2.5 percent drop in enrollment but instead saw a 7.2 percent drop. The vice provost for enrollment management and analytics told the Board of Regents that several factors contributed including fewer students being admitted.
