Dickinson State University has so far identified seven positions it will not fill as it tries to make $2 million in cuts. At a forum Tuesday, Laura Nelson, interim vice president of finance and administration, told faculty about the budget task force's progress on their goal of reducing the university's biennium budget by $2 million by the end of 2019. "The task force is still working on collecting department information and comparing it to other campuses, and then we are using that data to evaluate reductions whereas needed," she said.
