Connecticut colleges and universities share reopening plans with state lawmakers - AMANDA BLANCO, HARTFORD COURANT

Facing uncertainty and strained budgets, Connecticut colleges and universities shared reopening plans Tuesday during an informational hearing with lawmakers on the legislature’s higher education committee. The leaders from public and private institutions emphasized that all plans are tentative, depending on potential increasing coronavirus infection rates in the state over the coming months. Schools must follow state guidance regarding campus repopulation, continuous health monitoring and testing, containment and shutdown if necessary.
