Ball State University is making changes to its budget to adapt to the economic effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. The cuts are primarily caused by a $10 million reduction in state appropriations, resulting in the loss of 128 Ball State jobs. Marc Ransford, university spokesperson, said that 90 of the jobs lost were vacant positions, and 38 staff members were terminated.
