Massachusetts Teachers Association says lack of funding in fiscal 2022 budget creates disproportionate negative effect on students of color - Melissa Hanson, Mass Live

 The Massachusetts Teachers Association has said the Legislature passed a “status quo” budget for fiscal 2022 and that the lack of funding creates a disproportionate negative effect on working-class students and students of color. “Bold action” is needed to support students, public schools, colleges and communities as the COVID-19 pandemic continues, MTA President Merrie Najimy said in a statement.
