Lebanon Valley College plans to cut faculty positions, drop academic programs - WGAL News 8

Lebanon Valley College is planning to cut faculty positions and program majors. The cuts come after the board of trustees called for a $1.6 million, or 10 percent, cut of academic expenses."We're at a position at the college where we feel we need to look at all of our programs and decide: Can we continue to do everything that we're doing and do we need to start reallocating resources?" said Dean Mike Green, who heads the task force that came up with budget-cutting recommendations. The initial proposal calls for discontinuing French, German, philosophy and religion majors, as well as consolidating and restructuring other programs. https://www.wgal.com/article/lebanon-valley-college-plans-to-cut-faculty-positions-drop-academic-programs/23461277
