Marietta College officials announce job cuts - The Marietta Times

Marietta College announced Tuesday it has eliminated 20 full-time positions, a move officials attribute to short-term budget pressures and an attempt to ensure future sustainability. Tom Perry, executive director for strategic communications and marketing for Marietta College, said employees, including those affected, had been notified earlier in the day. The cuts are expected to save $1.1 million and affected employees "across the campus," said Perry, including educators. He said he could not say which specific positions were included. http://www.newsandsentinel.com/page/content.detail/id/584646/Marietta-College-officials-announce-job-cuts.html?nav=5061
