College tuition, funding cuts on the rise in Alabama - WAAY

A new study ranks Alabama 5th in the Nation for higher education funding cuts. Alabama also ranks 5th for public college tuition increase, according to the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities."My main belief is that, you know, education shouldn't be something that is reserved for the elite, you know. For the, you know, financially privileged, you know. It's just education should be accessible to everyone," says college student Connor Diaz.
