University of Virginia board to discuss ways to cut budget - THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

The University of Virginia's Board of Visitors will discuss ways to cut the school's budget during meetings this week. Gov. Terry McAuliffe has ordered higher education institutions to cut their state allocations by 5 percent for the current fiscal year and 7 percent for the next fiscal year. U.Va. President Teresa A. Sullivan told The Daily Progress (http://bit.ly/1os9SfM ) in a recent interview that most students likely won't feel the cuts. http://www.therepublic.com/view/story/e6b53dd0275e4be8be59723baadc8e80/VA--UVa-Budget-Cuts
